Predator: Badlands like Alien: Earth are intended to provide more of the background of the Predator civilization and the Earth before and during its exposure to various hostile alien creatures.
While there has been an established shared universe between Alien and Predator, they each are also part of their own worlds. Predator: Badlands and Alien: Earth could have been much better, but they still provide some entertaining moments.
